Had to get an oil change and ended up going to the dealer - on their inspection they said there's a leak on the bank 2 rocker arm oil control valve. Quoted me $722 for the replacement.

Within a hundred miles my wife experienced a single hard idle and then the check engine light came on. It was a P3497 and after research on the forum, I discovered the fake VVT Solenoid lower gasket filter was too restrictive likely.
