Hey all, I'm working on my friend's Sunbird 170ss with an Evinrude 88 SPL outboard. The boat was working fine and then one day he tried to start it and it just wouldn't start. Also, in rare overeheats, the bridges in the intake and exhaust area can crack-making the block scrap. Check to make sure they are intact (uncracked) before you do anything.Fuel issues 88 spl.
